About the Speaker
Phil Langton is the Chief Operating officer of Securrency Capital, a digital broker that is being licensed in Abu Dhabi Global Markets.
He brings over 30+ years of experience in banking and capital markets, having worked with some of the leading financial institutions around the globe. During this time, Phil has built up an extensive knowledge around pre and post trade operational processes and controls associated with traditional and digital traded products.
Phil has worked with several start-up and tech companies to assist in the automation of the product lifecycle including:- client onboarding, best execution, deferred settlements, treasury management, prime services, client clearing and claims in administration to name a few.
He has worked with the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI) since 1999 to support its membership and training course program globally along with development of CPD events in finance around the world.
Whilst originally from Jersey in the Channel Islands, his work has taken him to, New York, Chicago, Zurich, Geneva, Amsterdam and more recently the Middle East.
